Announcing the Metal Plasticity Seminar 2024: A Focus on Material Testing 2.0
The VForm-xSteels team is thrilled to announce the Metal Plasticity Seminar 2024, to be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM at ArcelorMittal Global R&D Gent/OCAS NV, Belgium. Supported by ESAFORM, this yearly conference provides a vital forum for experts in the field of metal plasticity to talk about the latest developments, obstacles to research and potencial future directions for the sector.
This year’s theme, “Material Testing 2.0 for Thermomechanical Characterization of High Strength Steels,” will address the latest methodologies for mechanical characterization of advanced steels, combining theory, simulation, and practical applications. Esteemed international experts will present groundbreaking research in topics such as Finite Element-based inverse material calibration, data-driven constitutive modeling, and computational stress reconstruction.
